Wahl eine Katastrophe
So after I had the last few days no time to leave a comment on the election result, I have it now.
To anticipate: The choice was disastrous. The SVP has, with a vote share of as much as 29%, all seven seats and gained National is new to 62 The SP, however, had absolutely nothing to celebrate: lost 9 seats and only represented by 43 national councils, with a vote share of 19.5%, that is not even a fifth, while in 2003 23.3% was still a little under a quarter.
good, there is little to report. One of the few bright spots: The other major Left party in the country, the Greens could win seven seats. At this point Congratulations to the newly elected or re-open, and - of course - to the unfortunately too few SP-national councils. May they be worthy representatives of their parties.
A little schadenfreude is whether the removal of a Drew Ulrich Schlüer (Why Drew's why: Bozkurt = minarets, would not that I find the men wolves in any positive way - 144% Muslim, and so on.)) And the single SD National Bernhard Hess, however, allowed.
Well - the SP is the really big loser in this election. But why? My explanation: first
Many immigrant votes to the Greens, who could take full advantage of the emerging issue of climate change through their greatest asset. Too bad, but so far not as bad as the voices stay left and travel to a very pleasant party.
second The SP led such a bad campaign, that this result was anticipated long ago. Although she had a very good case, how to get into their performances could (be it on television or the Internet) has recognized, however, naive to trust that the voters are just the latest information first, before they are to fill out their ballots. The SVP has dominated with its open populist election campaign and the SP has responded in awkward way possible, rather than take the ball and expose the propaganda of the SVP for what it is: pure lies. As much as I
Hans-Jürg Fehr Politics guess - he remains a "flagship SPler" which one can certainly admire rightly - so disappointed I am outside, given the knowledge that his party after not even as good as even can represent. It makes him very likeable but he barely tried in SVP-style to go fishing on voters, but voters have to come from somewhere nunmal.
The scandalous in my view NPP poster has finally determined deterred some people who might otherwise choose SP.
The SP will have to come up with comprehensive new strategy if they share my desire to see them again at the next election much more.
Sincerely
Fabian
